أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ
Astaghfirullāh
I seek Allah's forgiveness.
Sahih Muslim 591
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ، تَبَارَكْتَ ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
Allāhumma antas-salāmu wa minkas-salām, tabārakta dhal-jalāli wal-ikrām
O Allah, You are Peace and from You is peace. Blessed are You, Owner of majesty and honour.
Sahih Muslim 591
Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahū lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr. Allāhumma lā māniʿa limā aʿṭayt, wa lā muʿṭiya limā manaʿt, wa lā yanfaʿu dhal-jaddi minkal-jadd
There is no god but Allah alone, without partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, none can give what You withhold, and the wealth of the wealthy cannot help them against You.
Sahih al-Bukhari 844
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Subḥānallāh (33 times), Alḥamdulillāh (33 times), Allāhu akbar (33 times)
Glory be to Allah. All praise is for Allah. Allah is the Greatest.
Sahih Muslim 597
Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahū lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr
There is no god but Allah alone, without partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. (Whoever completes the hundred with this has his sins forgiven, even if they are like the foam of the sea.)
Sahih Muslim 597

Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwal-ḥayyul-qayyūm... (the whole of Ayat al-Kursi)

Guide
After the salam, the Prophet ﷺ would say Astaghfirullah three times and then Allahumma antas-salam wa minkas-salam.1 After that come the tasbih (33 Subhanallah, 33 Alhamdulillah and 33 Allahu akbar), Ayat al-Kursi and the last three surahs. These are for after every fard prayer. The morning and evening adhkar are a separate, longer set.
After Fajr and Asr, which have no sunnah prayer after them, sit and complete the adhkar. After Dhuhr, Maghrib and Isha, say the short Allahumma antas-salam, stand for the sunnah prayers, and do the longer adhkar after the sunnah. This follows Aishah's report that the Prophet ﷺ sat after the salam only for as long as it takes to say Allahumma antas-salam.3
Abdullah ibn Amr saw the Prophet ﷺ count the tasbih on his hand, and counting on the fingers is the Sunnah. Beads or a counter are allowed by most scholars. If you lose count, the tasbih counter keeps it for you.
No. These adhkar follow each of the five daily prayers. The morning and evening adhkar are a longer set said once after Fajr and once in the evening. After Fajr you can do both, one after the other.
