Dua 1
ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَصَٰبَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌۭ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ
Innā lillāhi wa innā ilayhi rājiʿūn
Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.

Dua for the deceased, and for someone who has died.
When you hear that someone has died, say Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun. Then make dua for them, as the Prophet ﷺ did in the funeral prayer.
Dua 2
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ، وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ، وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ، وَاغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ
Allāhummagh-fir lahū warḥamhu, wa ʿāfihī waʿfu ʿanhu, wa akrim nuzulahū, wa wassiʿ mudkhalahū, waghsilhu bil-māʾi wath-thalji wal-barad
O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him, keep him safe and pardon him, honour his arrival and make his entry wide, and wash him with water, snow and hail. (For a woman: lahā, warḥamhā...)

Dua 3
اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي، وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا
Allāhumma ʾjurnī fī muṣībatī wa akhlif lī khayram-minhā
O Allah, reward me in my loss and replace it for me with something better. (For the bereaved.)

When you hear that someone has died, say Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun. Then make dua for them, as the Prophet ﷺ did in the funeral prayer.
Condole the family by saying "Inna lillahi ma akhadha wa lahu ma a'ta" (to Allah belongs what He took and what He gave) and encourage patience.1 Charity and dua on behalf of the deceased reach them.
